Lonely Planet Maldives 2012
*在台灣圖書館借了2012年出版的。本來考慮要買最新的版本，但發現最新的是2018年出版，也算不上新，所以就沒買了。希望書本繼續存在啊。
潛水:
- Kandus: channels between islands, reefs, atolls, soft corals, rich supply of plankton attracts large animals such as manta rays, whale sharks.
- Thilas: 海底山峰，a coral formation that rises steeply from the atoll floor, reaches 5-15m of the water surface. Spectacular underwater mountain, the steep sides have crannies(縫隙), caves, overhangs. Coral sharks and big fishes.
- Giris: 海底高原 a coral formation rises to just below the water surface.
- Thilas and giris are found inside kandus.
The Atolls:
When sea level rose again, new coral grew on the tops of karst mountains(coral eroded into steep-sided, flat-topped columns).
